Sometimes “I am busy”, “I will call you late” and “Talk to my assistant” are hard nuts to crack.
Today I’m going to give you some responses to sales objections that are Excuses and Brush-Offs. Let’s storm: I’m busy, I will call you late and Talk to my assistant.

I am busy
The First group of objections is
- I’m busy
- I’ve only got 1 minute
- I’m in a hurry
- I don’t have time to talk
- Just send me your card
- I’m on my lunch break
Possible responses are:
1 – Well. I can call back at another time… What time is convenient for you?
2 – I understand. I can be very brief… we help reduce MVP development time by carrying out effective research of your target market.
3 – Well, let’s not miss the opportunity to cut your manufacturing risks because there is no time.
4 – OK. I will fit your time. Can I ask how long it takes to reconfigure your assembly line to release a new product?
I will call you late
The second group of objections is
- I will call you late
- We will call you if we are interested
And possible responses are:
1 – I understand. Can we schedule another call right now?
2 – OK. I may actually call you back. Can we schedule next conversation right now? Is it OK?
3 – I understand. If I miss your call when will be a good time to call you back?
Talk to my assistant
And the final group of objections is Talk to my assistant
And possible responses are:
1 – OK. Before that can I briefly ask what your current approach in this area is? What results are you getting?
2 – OK. Can I take 30 seconds to show how we’ve delivered an additional value to our customers?
